Our Mission and Vision

At Word of Truth Bible Church, we are dedicated to preaching the gospel of grace and rightly dividing the word of truth


Ephesians 2:8-9 

“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Word of Truth Bible Church

Word of Truth Bible Church is a church plant in west Michigan, currently meeting in Sparta. After a few families met together for bible studies, it became evident that it was time to officially start Word of Truth Bible Church.  


Wesley Hutchison played a key role in guiding the church body in the beginning, and he is now the pastor of Word of Truth Bible Church.  He is committed to bible preaching from the King James Bible, Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth, and teaching a proper balance of Christian living in the dispensation of Grace.

We believe that the King James Bible is the perfect, inspired, and preserved Word of God.

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith alone.  The Gospel is defined in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 as the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.

We believe that God is building the spiritual body of Christ today in the age of grace. All who are saved are spiritually baptized into Christ at the moment of salvation.

Although the body of Christ is a spiritual body, it is manifested physically in the local church.

We believe that the body of Christ will be raptured prior to the tribulation. This rapture is different from the second coming, and was a mystery revealed to the apostle Paul

We believe that there are seven baptisms in the bible, but only one is for believers today in the age of grace. This baptism is a spiritual baptism without water that happens at the moment of salvation.  Paul says in Ephesians, “one Lord, one faith, one baptism.”
